This is a wonderful Special Egg Menu given to patrons for Dining Car Service on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. I love the raised imprints of the chickens and eggs and the coloring is fresh and detailed. This egg menu is in far better condition than the previous egg menu I had up for auction some time back. T are some smudges on the back of the card and the corners are slightly worn. This menu was found among other paper items behind a mantel in a house that was being remodeled in Fairmont, West Virginia. It is an early menu but I do not know the date. Offered up were Scrambled Eggs, Shirred Eggs, Poached Eggs, Omelettes. The special for the Baltimore and Ohio was an omelette filled with hashed chicken in cream - 60 cents. This is a folding menu so one could use it as a fold up post card. Shipping 1st class with confirmation. No charge for handling. Shipping is estimated so do not pay until an invoice is mailed to buyer. thanks for looking.
