HMV 101 You are bidding on a HMV 101 portable gramophone. The condition of this gramophone is very good. The sound quality is excellent and all you would expect from an HMV. This is not a cheap reproduction its fully original. The carrying handle has had the leather professionally replaced. Included are 5 78s, a copy of the original instructions, and a number of replacement needles. If you want to collect and pay cash then I'll include another 5 78's. This model has a manual brake, and speed modulator. The soundbox is an HMV No 4 which is the correct one for this model. The outside of the case is very good, theres the odd mark but it is more than 80 years old. It has the original thick felt on the turntable. It has a secret needle draw on the side. The motor works well and does not slow down during play. Dimensions. - 16.25" deep x 11.25"cm wide x 6" tall You may collect from South London or I can post.
