Early BRANDENBURG GERMAN Porcelain Rose MOUSTACHE Mug Brandenburg (Anchor) Condition: This mustache mug is in EXCELLENT condition. T are no cracks, no chips and no crazing apparent at all. The gilding is also in fabulous condition showing no wear. About this mustache mug: This is a wonderful German mustache mug that was recently acquired at an estate auction in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It has a combination of pink, orange and blue accent glazes with transfer image of large pink and yellow roses on the front - along with many green leaves to accompany them. A single rose is located on the back. This mustache mug also has a sculptured design to it with a scalloped opening and a generous mustache guard. It has a maker's mark in blue on the bottom that reads: Brandenburg along with an image of an anchor. Despite extensive searching - both online and off, we cannot locate any information about the maker. This mustache mug would make a nice addition to anyone's collection - on display anyw in your home.
