Staffordshire Transferware. Nice and very collectible brown transfer plate in the "Millenium" pattern. This pattern was made by Ralf Stevenson between 1832-1835. Marked with the printed pattern only and an impressed *. Plate measures about 9" in diameter. The transfer is crisp and nicely detailed. Condition is very good. There is an edge flake at about 9 o'clock (possibly from a plate hanger). No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Little if any wear on the transfer. No crazing or staining. Very minor wear on the extreme outer edge. Wonderful very collectible early pattern.
