You are bidding on a Cairns & Brother of New Jerseyfireman helmet. I believe the helmet isfrom the early 1900’s. The helmet is leather. The back of the helmet is curved and there are some pieces of leather missing showing the wire frame. Also on top of on rib the leather is missing. The helmet has the liner but the back piece is torn from use and age. It is marked inside with a round metal label as pictured. The helmet has the Captains leather badge and the number one. There is a metal support on the top of the helmet that holds the front badge and is marked on both sides FD as pictured. Note – All item(s) are used unless otherwise stated. Buyer pays shipping based on your location. Shipping will be by USPS priority mail. Payment is due within 3 days after closing of the auction unless other arrangements have been made.
