This is an opportunity to purchase a rare 1930's Cemar art pottery vase. Bauer employees Paul Cauldwell and C. J. Malone left Bauer Pottery in 1935 to start Cemar Pottery in Los Angeles (company was later purchased by Bauer). This appears to be a 1930's piece with a hand impressed CEMAR mark on bottom. It is 8-1/2" tall and is fairly heavy clay with a gloss turquoise thick glaze. It's in excellent condition with no damage, crazing or repairs... couple of minor glaze imperfections and a 1/4" superficial firing line on top (see close-up) -very minor.. Don't hesitate to ask any questions... NO RESERVE - NO HANDLING CHARGES ...THANKS for looking!
