This is a heavy duty and early electric fan made by the EMERSON ELECTRIC MFG. CO. of New York. It is marked PATENTED; but no dates or numbers are provided. It looks to date from the 1890's to the first years of the 1900's. The closeup photo shows the fancy cast iron base on this early use of the then new electric power.
The brass label shows 60 cycle and 104 volts. It has a brass blade and heavy duty iron cage. It has a variable speed on-off lever on the base and it runs "like a bear" when turned on - very powerful. This will ship from zip code 14564 at about 25 pounds. Personal checks may need to clear before shipping if feedback is not adequate. Buyer pays shipping, based on actual costs. Money orders and checks are preferred.
