This is a listing for a beautiful early piece from quality designer brand, Chico's. Chico’s was founded in 1983 as a small boutique selling Mexican folk art and cotton sweaters on Sanibel Island in Florida and now they've evolved into over 600 boutiques nationwide. This necklace is from their earlier years and it features a thick braided silver tone chain with a gorgeous abalone shell pendant. It's accented with a round cut turquoise crystal. The necklace and pendant are both marked "Chico's".9iMeasures 17" long and has a 3" extender chain. The pendant measures 1 1/4" wide x 1 7/8" long (including loop).I obtained this necklace from an exquisite estate sale in the Catskill Mountains region of New York.
