EARLY CHINESE EXPORT ROSE MEDALLION OVAL DISH W/PIERCED HANDLES 19TH C. Offered is a nice Rose Medallion oval dish of unusual form with pierced handles on either end. It dates to the late 19th century and both the porcelain and decoration are of Chinese manufacture. Some 19th c. European porcelains were sent to China and decorated with Rose Medallion but we are guaranteeing this piece to have been produced entirely in China. CONDITION: Excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs. T is minor wear to the enamels and wear to the gold on the edges of the dish.SIZE: 7 3/8 inches by 5 5/8 inches We guarantee this to be a genuine period antique and that the condition, country of origin, and dates of manufacture are accurate. .
