Up for auction is a VINTAGE handmade AMAZING and HUGE SILK CIGAR BAND QUILT TOP/TOPPER. Ready to finish. On some kind of muslin or linen backing. Pictured on top of a queen size bed! Takes up the whole thing. Finished, it could easily be made to fit a king. I have NEVER seen one so big, usually just blocks alone. All brands, many pictorial/portrait victorian ladies, college flannels, baseball felts etc. Cannot name them all. Measures 83" by 52" SILKS ONLY, with border it's a bit larger. Beautiful condition for age with only one torn, see photo. A few of the edges are coming loose but nothing major, it needs to be finished anyway. Lots of photos, for specific images, schools, military, names etc, please ask. Fine antique textile, great for the sports fan or Tobacciana collector.I will not end auctions early.
