This beautiful early coin silver creamer was made by John David of Philadelphia circa 1770-1775. This pitcher is approximately 3-13/16" to the top of the lip and 4" to the top of the handle. It has an inverted pear-shaped body on a circular pedestal base with feather edge decoration, a wavy rim with a high curved pouring lip and a cast double scroll handle with a feather grip and a forked terminal. This creamer is marked under the foot I. DAVID in a rectangular punch. While this creamer has a classic look and wonderful overall appearance, t are a few condition issues resulting from old repairs along the way, including a well-done repair w the body joins the pedestal base. Early pre-Revolutionary War coin silver is very difficult to locate and is always very collectible. This fine Early American creamer will make a wonderful addition to your morning coffee routine, and a terrific addition to your collection of early Philadelphia coin silver! *****Buyer pays shipping and optional insurance ($4.60 priority mail or FedEx ground). Money order and PayPal get next day mailing. Personal checks held until cleared. NY residents, please add sales tax. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED*****
