This rare coin silver mint julep cup was made between 1830 and 1840 by Samuel Kirk of Baltimore, Maryland . This cup is 3-3/8" tall to the top of the rim, and measures 2-1/2" in diameter at the base and 2-7/8" at the rim. It has applied bands at the top and bottom rims, a script monogram H.S.H to her Godson J.R.H on the front and is marked underneath S. KIRK in a rectangular punch and 10.15 in a serrated rectangular punch. This julep cup is in good condition with only the minor imperfections that one would expect from a period piece and are consistent with its age. Coin silver mint julep cups are always very collectible, and this fine example will make a terrific addition to any collection of Early American coin silver! *****Buyer pays shipping and optional insurance ($4.60 priority mail or FedEx ground). Money order and PayPal get next day mailing. Personal checks held until cleared. NY residents, please add sales tax. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED*****
