This original old Columbia River salmon label was never used on a can! A very rare label used during the first efforts in marketing Columbia River salmon to domestic & foreign markets. A rare part of history which has been saved from destruction, and now available to display in your kitchen, office, or elsewhere. An excellent gift for that salmon label collector or fisherman. This rare label measures approximately 4 1/4" X 10", and is in excellent condition, except for slight wear around the edges of the label. As this label brand may have been used as early as 1885, it is remarkable that this rare label is in as good a condition as it is.
