Hi, I'm listing a early corn husk bag. Don't know the maker for sure , probably Nez Perce. I feel it's 1860's, maybe early 1870"s. The bag measures 8 " X 10 " , the flap is 3 " X 8 ". It has the original strap , which is some kind of hide. There are detailed multi colored designs on the front and back. Colors used include; red, yellow, green , blue , purple and pink .. This piece is a survivor with lots of miles on it. It has wear on the front , the back and flap. The liner is a light weight material maybe silk and you can see the hand stitching. The lining is loose on the inside flap, as you can see on the picture. There is also hand stitching around the snaps and on what is left of the purple border around the flap . Guaranteed old and original. I'm listing with a moderate reserve. Paypal is OK, I do accept other forms of payment, please ask. Shipping will be economy or fist class. Insurance is up to the buyer. I'll ship the bag in a display box. Thanks for looking.
