Offered today is a fine pair of CRAFTSMAN STUDIOS copper bookends. They are both marked with the early mark "CS" sometimes confused with Carl Sorenson. These hand hammered bookends are from the arts and crafts/ Stickley era and are a substantial size. Measuring 6 and 3/4" in height, 4 and 3/4" width, and 2 and 3/4" in depth. The pair are well matched in their original and dark patina. Note on patina: The finish has a dark green, dark brown tone to it - with some natural highlighting towards the center curves. It is not like a Roycroft brass-wash but is one of the early patinas that Craftsman Studios used and reads much darker. I have seen other early CS desk items with this patina. They are in very nice, vintage condition. Paypal, postal money order and cashiers check accepted. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking!
