If you like early American primitives, you have to like this wonderful lidded New England Piggin !! Early lap bands and staved construction. It is about as good as they get and has its original lid !! T is a early square cut nail that hold the lid in place and also totally original to the Piggin. It is 8 1/2" tall, 11" including the handle, 10 1/4" in diameter across the top and 9 1/4" across the bottom. I have added several tiny finish nails to secure the bands and keep them nice and tight. Guaranteed you will look a long time to find one better !! Good luck and check the other country antiques I have currently listed, thanks !!
