EARLY AMERICAN CUT GLASS FOOTED BOWL HEAVY BELL TONE FLINT GLASS PITTSBURGH GLASS c1850s I SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is an early, very heavy, CLEAR cut glass footed bowl that I would say dates to the mid 1800s. It measures 4 5/8" tall and is 4 3/4" in diameter across the bowl, 3 3/4" across the base. The glass is flint and rings like a bell when you tap it with your finger. I believe this was made by one of the midwestern glass factories such as Bakewell Pears. The condition is excellent. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. The last three images illustrate a number of pieces from a 500+ piece collection of Ohio Valley Glass 1860-1960 - and related European examples - that I am listing separately on Ebay over the next two to three months. You are bidding on only the fotoed bowl in this sale. This piece is being sold without a reserve as long as t is an opening bid. High bidder to pay $6.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States and Canada. SAVE ON SHIPPING: If you are bidding on or plan to bid on more than one item I will at your request hold the items to ship together. I WILL SHIP TO EUROPE for $18.00.Money orders, personal checks and bank checks gladly accepted. You are also welcome to use PayPal.
