This is a rare, early flow blue and red ground Staffordshire Pitcher standing approx. 7" high to handle top. It has no makers marks - just artists numbers 825 painted on the bottom - I do not know the pattern or maker but I would date it c1840's and am sure it has come from a quality factory. It is very clean looking and the red ground shows little use wearing - there are the odd manufacturing marks around the foot of the Pitcher and an old staple repair to the top of the handle where it meets the body of the piece. The depth of colour is wonderful! I have other pieces in this pattern so please look out for them as I am always happy to combine mailing to keep down costs. Please look at my photo's and email me with any queries you might have thanks!
