Early Forestville Manufacturing Co. "Kossuth Model" Iron Front Clock with an 8 Day Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn. Movement Extremely well maintained original gilt fine line drawing with mother of pearl decorations "Kossuth Model" iron front. T is an almost complete Forestville Manufacrturing Co. label inside the case. 18" High 12" Wide 4" Deep 11 Lbs.The 8 Day time and strike pinned movement is signed S. Thomas, Plymouth, Conn.. It strikes a gong on the hour only. 4 3/4" metal dial. This clock was working at the time of its packing. Keyand pendulum are also included. As you can see from the pictures, thisclock is an exceptional beauty that will be an outstanding addition to any early American clock collection. Because of their age, antique clocks will show signs of use and are usually not in mint condition. Every effort has been made to describe and depict this clock as accurately as possible.
