RARE EARLY FRANCIS BLAKE TELEGRAPH CLOCK TIMER DEVICE NO RESERVEFrom the Landmark laboratory collection of Francis Blake, telephone pioneer. This Device is from the Keewaydin estate lab located in Weston, Massachusetts. See below.As removed c.1962 from the Blake Laboratory, this device appears to be an early electro-timing instrument. Details include twin vertical 1-1/4" diameter field coils, top mounted contact plate and arm with end pin. When energized, the arm and pin drop, allowing rear mounted 4" timer vane to rotate, in turn advancing hands in rapid succession.Fine timer details include a 3.5" diameter hinged brass bezel with spring detent latch revealing a 2.5" diameter face with large Roman numeral I-XII. It takes 38 seconds for the large hand to complete one revolution.Other fine details include twin original brass wire terminals each with knurled clamp screws and Ornate Brass winding key. All mounted on a 7.5"X11" mahogany plinth with three 1" diameter brass supports. Overall height: 8.5". Weight 6 lbs.DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS NO RESERVE OPPORTUNITY.
