Although I deal in watches and clocks, I have never seen anything like this. I will describe it to the best of my abilities. It is not in working condition. It is rectangular, and measures 75mm long, 57mm wide, and 27mm deep. The case is heavy bronze, with some traces of the original gold finish. All 4 sides are finely engraved with florals. The bottom side is also engraved with the number "740". The back of the clock slides on and off. It is plain, but id does have the keywind holes for the time, alarm, and wind. The back is also engraved 'REVEIL". On the case top, t is a small button that stops the alarm. The front glass looks original, and has a beveled edge. The dial looks like silver, with black roman numerals and tracks. Towards the bottom of the dial t is a name and address that is hard for me to read. Some of the letters I cannot make out. It looks like "Wu___l a Paris, Passage Vi____nne 38 et 40, REVEIL". The fusee movement has a good balance. It is not working. I can see that the chain is not attached to the barrel. Other wise, it looks to need a good cleaning. I can see that the alarm function is activated by a small lever that connects it to the clock movement beneath the dial. The 4 outside case screws are new, as the originals were missing when I got this piece. The holes are original. The alarm hand and hour hand are old, but the minute hand is missing. Although in need of restoration, this is truly a scarce piece, museum quality. Buyer pays USPS shipping & insurance, $15 in US. We accept checks, money orders, and Paypal.
