A beautiful early Kestner. She is a closed-mouthed 25 inch girl. Her lovely shoulder-head is on a cloth and kid gussetted body with bisque lower arms. The body has a couple of patches (see pictures). She is marked only with what looks like a 12 on the back of the neck. She has beautiful brown eyes and nicely-painted features. Her original mohair wig is still glued down. I want to be honest and thorough about her small flaws. ---a slight cheek rub---a small firing line on cheek - It's barely noticeable, and I do not believe it's a hairline. (see photos)---1 finger is chipped, and that arm is repaired. It's a close match, and fine under clothes. She wears an old dotted-swiss dress embellished with antique lace, satin and metallic trim. The dress has age-related stains and tears. Her pantaloons, bodice and slip are antique and in great condition. The felt shoes a are bit big, but coordinate nicely. The hat is antique satin and velvet, and very pretty. She is beautiful and statuesque enough to be a strong presence in a collection. She comes from a smoke free home.
