An early German Australian landscape on milk glass contained in the original tramp art frame.This piece measures overall 12" x 10". The landscape has been removed from the frame to check for a signature of which t is none and it was noted that t are two small chips to the glass on the base rim which is obscured by the frame. The frame is in good condition for age with two areas of missing timber which does not detract.Purchased in South Australian from a Barossa Valley estate of German descendants. The painting looks typically Australian and the frame is Germanic.A rare and very decorative addition to any collection.Welcome to our site and we wish you luck with your bidding.
