This is a very early version of the globe novelty transistor radio. It's marked made in Japan and 2 transistor. The radio is well made and heavy; the battery cover is metal. The globe spins on the axis. The radio is in very nice condition - no cracks or chips - there are 2 lines around the equator of the globe that can be clearly seen in the pictures. If I were to guess, I'd think it's glue coming through the graphics. The radio is about 8 1/2" high. The radio works! The battery is not included. I have other radios listed.
