I,ve never seen one like this before. The body is made of cast iron with a copper wash finish that is about 40% intact. The 3 3/8" diameter base is pressed steel and is soldered to the body.....the spout is also steel. It is marked in a circular fashion " HAMMER & CO PAT SEP 16 1884 ". The overall height is 6" and it weighs 12 ounces. This looks to be vintage addition to an oiler collection. Thanks for looking.
