Offering a very early (previous 1902) tall desk or table lamp on an early base most likely made by an off - house foundry because the Handel Co. was formed in 1885 and bases were used from other Mfg. until 1902- when Handel opened their own in house foundry. (See Page 76 Handel Lamp Books) This base is lightly marked R F and also stamped Handel on one foot. It is a very becoming base with fancy top and bottom and an adjustable top for shade. It measures 24 1/2" high x 10" across bottom of base. It has a signed Hubbell turn key socket.
Shade is a very deep reddish rose color with deep green petals. It is in perfect condition and is marked Handel with two stars. It measures 6" dia. and 6" height. This is a quite an impressive Lamp and a real eye pleaser. This is a no reserve sale. This is a closed auction format to protect bidders identity from spams and false 2nd offers.
