Early Haviland Limoges Butter Dish + Liner Pink Flowers Green Leaves Gold Bow Description I acquired a wonderful collection of early Limoges dishes made for The Wallace Co., Schenectady, NY at an estate sale recently. I will be listing them over the next few days so check back as I am happy to combine shipping. This is my favorite! A covered butter dish with liner in excellent condition. I am not positive the underplate is the original but it fits the top perfectly. Measures 8.5" in diameter and insert with holes is 4 5/8" in diameter. The top has a 5 5/8" diameter and features a gold gilded bow finial! The edges are brushed gold with embossed scallops. And the dainty pink and white flowers are embellished with lots of green leaves. The lid is marked Haviland & Co Limoges and the underplate has a double mark of Haviland France and Haviland & Co Limoges Made for The Wallace Co., Schenectady, NY. These marks date to the late 1800's! Perfect for your holiday entertaining!
