This is a great vintage early arts and crafts Hull pottery planter with under plate attached. It has a great turquoise gloss color with other colorings of dark blue, red and cream and a great pattern design on the piece. It is a great piece of pottery that someone may want to use for planting. Overall it is a nice piece of pottery but does have some flaws: I have pictured several areas mostly on the very bottom that look like fissures or firing cracks from production. I have also pictured a long hairline that starts at the top and goes down to about the middle of the pottery vase. This is very tight. The pottery planter comes with an attached underplate and there is a little hole for water drainage. The bottom of the planter is marked with the early "H" Hull marking. This is a very desirable pattern and often the shapes are really neat. Other than what was mentioned, no other chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. There is some minor dirt/wear inside the pottery vase but this planter could still be used for planting flowers. The vase measures just under 5 1/4 inches high. The opening diameter is the widest portion of the vase and measures just over 6 and one half inches wide. I will ship these Parcel Select upon request if available and cheaper to your area. Ebay will send the winner a buying reminder if
