I am a knife maker to biulds knives that look and feel like they are 150++ years old. So that they can be used by campers who like the real thing, re-enactors who will be proud to show and tell, and for displays. I use carbon-steel with alloy A-569 and with a Rockwell hardness of 63. The knife - domensions are; 14 3/4" full length, 9 3/4" long blade. 1 3/4" blade width, and 1/8" thick. The edge is VERY SHARP. The handle is full tang with birds eye maple and is 4 3/4" long. The scales are attached with brass rivets (old style). The style is called "Searles". Sheath is made of heavy leather. The Camp axe has a cutting edge of 2 3/4" - very sharp. the length of the head 5 1/4" and the length of the hand made curly maple haft is 17 1/2" long. The head is an original and very old and haft to head is SOLID and TIGHT. Sheath is of leather. If you have any questions or would like another style of blade design, feel free to email me. I will start low and let you decide the value. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND BIDDING.
