This appears to be an early Life Savers old country store tin counter display case. I believe from the 1930's-40's.I have never see this type Lifesaver display, so I will consider it Rare and Scarce. The flavors listed are:cinn-o-mon, clove, lic-o-rice, pep-o-mint, wint-o-green and vi-o-let.-One side is very colorful piece with nice graphics and other side looks as if it has been sitting against a wall for a long time and is a little worn.-Not perfect, has some wear as seen in the pictures but still displays nicely I feel. Upper right side has a little dent.-Some chips, minor common wear to paint, some scratches. All common issues from wear and use.-Made of tin.-Tin is solid but there is some minor surface rust here and there in a few of the compartments but does not compromise this great piece.-Lifesaver mint on top and lettering around mint is 'raised/embossed'.-This display could use a light cleaning if you desire to do so.-Measures 11" deep, 10" across, and 11" in height from top of mint to bottom display.-Bottom edge of display reads : Form No. 39 DC-033-Nine flavors display case-Made in USA-American Can Co.Overall, a rare display for your collection or country store theme. This is a pretty cool display!!!Posted with eBay Mobile
