I am pleased to offer for sale this WONDERFUL EARLY LIFT TOP 2 DRAWER COUNTRY DESK IN ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT . This desk measures 42" tall to the top of the desk by 48" to the top of the gallery by 26 1/2" wide by 21" deep. The two front drawers are 21 1/4" long by 3 1/4" tall. When you lift the top t are two drawers inside the desk that are 9 3/4" long by 8" deep. The desk appears to be in original condition except for the two knobs on the inside drawers. The desk has old round and square nails in the drawers and holding the backboards. The frame of the desk has mostly wooden pegs. The desk has very nice turned legs and ball finials on the gallery tops. The hinges holding the top appear to be the originals. The front and both sides of this great old desk are paneled to add character and dimension to the desk. This is a FANTASTIC early country desk in pretty much untouched condition that would certainly be a fine addition to any country collection.
