Not a Police badge-Never was, never will be..This item came from an elderly gentelmans local estate that collected old F&G-Forestry items. Another LA area badge. This is a silver color stamped metal beartop shield, it is 2 5/8 in tall. Reads Los Angeles County Deputy #54 Fire Warden Forestry Dept. The enamel in the lettering is a black soft type. Has an early style pin & catch. It is marked Chipron Stamp Co. L.A. in raised lettering on the back of the bear & Chipron Stamp 224 W 1st St Los Angels in the center.. It is in vg condition..
