Curepipe is on the central plateau of Mauritius, due to its location Curepipe receives a lot of rainfall but has a temperate climate. Curepipe is also a great city of Mauritius for shopping w visitors will find duty free shops, ships models boutique, Indian wear and much more. Do not miss to visit the crater, Trou aux Cerfs, w you will have a fascinating view of the west side of Mauritius Island. The Botanical Garden of Curepipe needs absolutely a visit.
