This is an early McCoy art pottery vase in the great matte green glaze. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a faint number on the bottom but I can't make it out. I also have a white matte glaze vase in the same pattern on auction - see them both in photo #4. It seems early too and has very sloppy glaze application. It doesn't seem to have a number on the bottom. You see these vases used all the time in craftsman, bungalow, eames or art deco decorating. The vase is almost 9 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches across the top. There are the usual tiny glaze globs and on the bottom rim what looks like sloppy trimming - resembles a chip but I looked closely and it isn't. I am not a pottery expert. I do love this color and have collected a few pieces in it. Please email if you have questions. I will pack this pot very carefully. I have had it for many, many years and it is not a replica. I know that is happening with alot of the nice pottery but you can see that this one is old and even has old dust/dirt inside. Hmmm, guess that doesn't say much about my cleaning abilities. Shipping will be $12 - I usually double box pieces like this - and payment is due to me within 5 days of auction's end.
