An early 19th century or late 18th century Meissen figural sculpture of a woman holding a basket full of flowers. This piece was made in Germany and is 5 1/8" in height, 2 3/8" in width and 2 3/4" in depth. This piece is marked on the bottom with the blue crossed swords and with the incised markings "28, 127". The condition is poor, with both of the woman's arms broken in two places each and the right hand is missing the thumb. These problems have been partially, but poorly repaired, as is the same case for the basket of flowers, of which I have two of the broken flowers, but am missing others. T is also a chip on the back of the sleeve of the left arm and the flower basket is poorly repaired and reset too high on this piece. The rest of this piece appears to be in good order.
