This week I will be listing selections from an incredible estate service of MINTON China in the elegant "GOLD ROSE" pattern. Introduced in 1939, this design with wide gold band and fancy gold rose on a white swirl blank was discontinued in 1970. This set has the Minton's Crown and Globe backstamp and artist's marks that date from 1939 to 1950. The set is in extraordinary condition--used very little if at all. T are no chips, cracks, repairs, paint loss or signs of use. I always hesitate to call any estate items "mint" but this china comes darn close! This auction offers four of the 2 1/4" Flat CUPS and 5 1/2" SAUCERS. They will be a really nice addition to your service--or the perfect way to start one!
