Rare Minton Earthenware Jug - circa 1872 Interesting little Minton Jug impressed on the base with the Minton mark and the date cypher for 1872. It also has an impressed lozenge with the exact date of manufacture and the impressed numbers 1716The exterior of the jug is in a brown glaze and the inside is a bright green glaze. The handle is a green glaze which extends as branches either side of the jug.There is a fine hairline in the handle and a tiny firing mark to the glaze on the left of the handle.No ReserveGood Luck with your Bidding and be sure to check out the other interesting items I have listed at the moment!
