Rare NASB Baby "87 MADE IN JAPAN"Nancy Ann Storybook DollThis early Japanese made 3.5" bisque baby was one of the first babies usedby Nancy Ann before she started having her own made in the USA. This little cutie is incised "87 MADE IN JAPAN" on the back with"JAPAN" in ink just below it. It appears the ink was smudged beforecompletely dry.For reference please see page 20 of Pardee's "Encyclopedia of Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, Vol.2"There are numerous chips as you can see on the pics. The pic that is closest to the baby's true skin color is the one of lower torso and legs, front view. The pics are my best description.
