This is a LOW opening BID, NO RESERVE auction for an 'EARLY' PARKER Cutlery Co. 3 1/2" Long Closed, Carmel Bone Handled, Folding Lockback Hunter!!!! This Knife looks to have been very lightly carried, BUT Not Abused! Now for the specifics; Mr. Parker's Book referes to this Knife as PICKBONE and was manufactured in Japan some time between 1979 to 1983!!!! The knife has a Heavy Solid Brass Front Bolster with brass liners and pins, a"WALKING and TALKING" Surgical Steel Blade with a nice Clean Dark Heavy 'MUSTANG' Blade Etch and Strong Tang Stamp with Nickel Silver Oval Shield!!!! The only downfall to the knife is that it has some very light horizontal scratches near the tip on the front and back side of the blade and also 2 pin cracks in the handles (that have been stabilized) shown in photo #5. This knife came out of a recent Estate purchase and for being at least 24 years old, is otherwise a Very Nice looking Knife!!!! Please check out the SUPERSIZED pictures!!!! THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!
