is a wonderful postcard view of the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Co., in Ocean City, New Jersey. The scene shows an old three-story firehouse with a bell tower. Two vintage horse-drawn fire wagons are outside awaiting a call. The door to the firehouse is open and above it is written "Ocean City Vol. Fire Co." Next door is an older home, so this was truly a neighborhood firehouse. In the upper left corner is the number 5762. The card has never been posted but does have a divided back. Along the left hand edge is written: Made in Germany. A. C. Bosselman & Co., New York. T is black paper residue on the upper two corners from being glued into an album. Corner and edge wear is apparent and the upper right corner of the front has a dark smudge. None of this affects the view of a truly vintage firehouse and fire apparatus in Ocean City, N.J.
