Charles Stickley settle, droparm form with heavy thru-tenon construction, cut-out back with widevertical center slat flanked by vertical slats to each side, apparently original finish, signed with decal, 59"w x 27"d x 37"h, very good condition. The wood on this original " Stickley & Brandt " settle is top quality. The tiger oak ( quartersawn oak) is amazing (see pictures). I bought this in 1997 and traveled to Chillicothe, OH to pick it up.
T is one repair on the front of one of the legs (see picture), and one small chip in a veneered area on the side of the same leg. Also, if you wanted it to look a little less old, you could clean it, but I haven't because I wanted the original patina. I guarantee that this is an original Stickley piece . However, aside from that guarantee, this auction is bid-to-own. I have included an picture (last picture) from a reputable auction house selling the exact same piece and making the same attribution. The piece is signed (see picture). Shipping is the responsibility of the BUYER. I will allow pickup by you or your shipper from Milwaukee, WI 53211 at your cost. I will not charge for pickup. Try / or google "furniture shipping" to get an idea of the cost. Item is 59x27x37 and approx 70 lbs. I have gotten cross country quotes as low as $165 for this item, but get your own quote! If you have any additional questions or want additional photographs, please email me. Alright - 58 of you are watching this item. If t aren't any bids by 15min to close, I might pull the item.
