Offering at auction a super piece of early Peters & Reed . This pot is in execellent cond. It stands just under 4 3/4" high x3 15/16" at width. Of the Early art potters of the turn century it appears that Peters &Reed had more influence on the course the American Art Pottery than almost any significant colaboritive arguably to that point..This is an unmarked pot which evidence's it's age, the latter signed items were well after they moved on to form Zane pottery dateing this as an early developement period piece 1890 &1910,This is all thoroughly documented.. And can be traced at your local library..Landsun design of this size and form are extremely rare and cond. is wonderful .T are no nicks cracks or chips not even a sign of crazing.
