EARLY PETERS & REEDSTANDARD GLAZE VASE This turn-of-the-century vase is hand-thrown and is 10 & ¾âe tall and 3 & ¼âe wide. It is glazed in a high-gloss standard ware glaze reminiscent of Rookwood, and it is decorated with applied laurel leaf wreaths that were probably modeled and applied by Albert Radford, notable ceramic artist and modeler, who worked with a number of Zanesville/Roseville potteries, e.g., WELLER, and who established his own RADFORD POTTERY. The vase is in perfect, undamaged condition. Like much of the early art pottery produced by Peters & Reed, this vase has a slight lean. This vase was purchased at a Treadway Gallery auction and retains the Treadway auction label. Additional photos are available upon request. All my pottery is sold AS IS. I DO NOT accept credit cards, but I do accept PayPal payments, money orders, cashier checks, and personal checks (once they've cleared). Shipping is USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post. Insurance is optional. Donâe(tm)t worry too much about breakage. I go the extra mile to ensure the safety of my items. I will be listing dozens of pieces of pottery in the coming weeks. So keep checking to see whatâe(tm)s currently on the auction block. This week Iâe(tm)m selling pottery from North Dakota School of Mines, Peters & Reed, Royal Haeger, Monmouth, Robinson Ransbottom (RRPCO), Zanesville Stoneware Company, Gustavsberg STIM, Brush Pottery, and more. Good luck and good bidding.
