**NO RESERVE**Nice original pre/early WWII 2nd Infantry Division patch.Between the wars style with the regiment number at the bottom and a different color background for each branch, this case blue for infantry. The later versions did away with the regimental number and went to a standard black background. US made fully cotton embroidered cut-edge. Another one of those oddball patches, only used for a fairly short period of time. The Second Infantry Div. landed in Europe a few days after the D-Day invasion and saw action across the ETO. Patch is in about unissued condition, tiny crease about 4 O'clock that is visible in the pic if you look closely. No damage just a small storage crease that could be ironed out if you wanted to bother with it. Passes the black light and burn tests. These types with reg't number are harder to find than the later versions. Nice patch for your US patch or early WWII or pre-war collection. I am selling off my personal collection of 40+ years so watch for my other patches. Shipping is FIRST CLASS INSURED unless buyer requests other type of shipping.
