is a vintage knife from a collection of older & newer model knifes I have been listing on e-Bay over the past week, from a friend of mines estate that recently passed away, and I am selling them for his widow because she dosn't care for knifes in the house since he passed away. Most are pocket knifes and a few fixed blade knifes, he had most mounted on plaques, so some have the sheaths missing like this one, easily replaced or found on e-bay to fit it. This is a Premier model H98 Solingen Germany (buffalo skinner style knife, made of quality steel. This is a early Premier knife from the 50s-60s I believe, has no sheath, lost over the years because it was mounted on a plaque with others, held by brass wire so not to damage knife, blade has light age greying haze overall, but no major pitting or rust, has the leather bound grip, down in sections, has the no slip hand guard ends, and grooved top thumb rest for skinning, nice condition overall, measures a total of almost 9 1/2" long, blade 5" x 1 1/4" at widest point.
