Early Production German Camping Scout Knife/Dagger. Dagger has early production blade with no ricasso and early makers mark of "SMF" for the firm of "Solinger Metallwaffen fabrik % Co" Solingen and under maker mark logo is stamped "Ges. Geschutzt" Blade is still some what brite and is stright and true. Usual rub marks on blade. Oberse of blade has a nice deep scout motto etch and still crisp. Leather blade buffer is a gone to time. Grip Plates are black checkered bakelite with obverse has a nice "Wiggle" insignia. Nickel plating still mostly t without "Hammer Marks" Leather hanger and retainer loops are intact with extreme rub friction wear on belt side(See Pics) Working snap button with a unique name on front of button. Scabbard is dent/ding free and is also stright and true. Excellent example of early production german camping scout knife/dagger.
