Robin Woods collectors know of the loving details that Robin put into every doll. All Robin Woods dolls will be listed listed for 2 weeks and if unsold by then, will be donated to charity. Here is lovely Larissa , named after the character in " Dr. Zhivago ." She is dressed for a Russian winter in bonnet, fur-trimmed (real rabbit fur) pink velveteen jacket, sage dress, natural tights and petticoat, pantalettes, and black boots. She carries a fur-trimmed muff as well! Finely detailed, she is quite beautiful. Like all Robin Woods dolls, she is able to stand by herself. Her boots are easily removable. Her bonnet is a little flat from long storage.She was nominated for "Doll of the Year" in the fashion doll category in 1986. She has not been played with or displayed, just taken out, admired, and placed back in her box. Her head is a WEE bit wobbly. I have seen her cost on a price list as $400.00.She is from the estate of my husband's late wife, an avid doll collector who kept all her collection stored in boxes in the house until a room could be built for them. Sadly, illness intervened and this did not happen. The dolls have been kept in a climate-controlled storage facility for the past 4 years and have no odors.
