While we encounter juvenile bowls in virtually every antique or collectibles shop we enter they are more often than not heavily used - showing little or no remaining factory glaze - faded and/or non-existant central graphics - and in chipped or overall poor condition. That's why I bid this one in at a local auction - to offer you a true, quality Roseville juvenile bowl - retaining its original, bright colors, original high-gloss glaze and out-of-the-ordinary subject matter. In fact all that I can find that would detract from this item is crazing which is evident in the bottom of the bowl, both topside and underneath. Its sides are tapered inward as they travel upward terminating with a rolled lip at the top of the bowl. So, while your diameter is 8 inches at the base the top diameter is actually 7 inches. This adds another unique touch to this bowl and a heightened visual appeal. I have tried to closely photo the inside stork graphics but would also like to write that their colors remain vivid and bright with no interruption of color or design.
