Early stoneware jug that we think is from the Cincinnati, Ohio area, but we are not sure. On the front it reads J C SCHNELL SOUR MASH KILN DRIED GRAIN WHISKEY. As you can tell from the photos it does have some chips on the top and at the bottom and sort of an inverted T hairline that goes down from the top edge about 1 inch. Measures 8 1/8" tall.
