This is a nice old primitive carved wooden eagle, small and wired on the back for hanging,, 19th century, original construction, made with care, nice and solid. It has elaborately carved feathers, a tiny nick on one wing tip, tiny eyes and beak, long tail feathers, and a great original surface and patina. It has a wing span of just under 9 inches and measures about 7 1/2 inches from beak to tail. This was displayed with my folk art and miniatures collection, i will miss it but we are cleaningout 40 years of collecting clutter in anticipation of down sizing and everything must go. please check my other listings; you will always find a bargain.
